{"id":239,"date":"2009-10-22T16:38:14","date_gmt":"2009-10-22T08:38:14","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.happybonsai.com\/?p=239"},"modified":"2009-10-22T16:38:14","modified_gmt":"2009-10-22T08:38:14","slug":"bonsai-postage-stamps","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/happybonsai.com\/blog\/2009\/10\/22\/bonsai-postage-stamps\/","title":{"rendered":"Bonsai on Postage Stamps"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>During my research on the history of bonsai, I found a beautiful collection of <a title=\"Bonsai on Postage Stamps\" href=\"http:\/\/www.phoenixbonsai.com\/Stamps.html#Top%20of%20Page\">bonsai postage stamps in the homepage of Phoenix Bonsai Society<\/a>.  While it is not surprising to find bonsai on postage stamps of China, Japan, Hong Kong, or Taiwan, there are some countries that I would have never expected bonsai on their postage stamps, for examples,  Maldive Islands, Thailand, and Republic of San Marino.  I&#8217;ve found this very interesting.
